As a bookstore owner, it was bound to happen sooner or later – I would get the itch to publish a book. That time has come and I need your help!
Just because I’m a mom of twins doesn’t mean that I’m the expert on how to raise them, collectively we ALL are the experts, but we’re so short on time aren’t we?! That’s where the idea for my e-book came in. Two Little Time: Twins Advice for the Hurried Mom and Dad will be a collection of 5 bulleted “must know” tips and advice for raising twins from all of us.
This is a chance for you to get published, gain exposure as a “twins expert,” help other moms and dads by sharing your knowledge, and market your blog/website/business to the twins community. In addition, contributors can post Two Little Time on their website or blog to make available to their readers for FREE.

It’s Dora The Explorer Month!

It started innocently enough, as most obsessions do. My mother-in-law bought my twin daughter, Audrey, a Dora the Explorer hat at the beginning of winter. Neither one of my twins had ever watched Dora’s show before, but my daughter took an instant liking to the hat.
During the ice storm in December when we lost our power (and heat) for 2 days, Audrey wore her hat non-stop. It gave her warmth and a sense of safety during this stressful time. Even when the power was restored, she refused to take it off except for sleeping and bathing. For three months, she wore her Dora hat inside and outside, it didn’t matter.
Finally, in March I thought maybe the twins would like to watch Dora’s show. Well, all it took was for them to watch one show to be completely hooked on Dora. And, to my wonderful surprise Dora has younger twin siblings!
So, in honor of the enjoyment that Dora gives my twins (and the comfort she provided during our power outage), this month is Dora the Explorer month at Double Up Books. You’ll find below just some of the books that we carry that feature Dora and her twins.

What We Mean By “Twins”…
Throughout this site, you’ll see mention of the word “twins” and “twin” a lot! Sometimes we say “twins, triplets and multiples”, but other times we may say “twins” or “multiples” to mean “twins, triplets and multiples.” Really, it just depends on what we are writing about and whether it can support the longer of the two options or not. We certainly don’t want to exclude any parent of multiples or make them feel that way, it’s just that we want to make the reading easier.
